Our hardware team can create and supply schematics, layouts, and prototypes of most analogue and digital designs. We generally prefer to be involved as early as possible in the design phase of a product when we can apply our design expertise and experience to reduce costs and improve both product specification and time to market.
If you're in a rush, we can have prototypes of simple embedded systems out to you within two weeks. On cost-downs, we aim to cut prototype BOM costs by half.
We generally recommend that clients employ our bring-up service for new designs; this allows us to validate the hardware early in the design process, often without having to build PCBs or incur other costs, and supplies the client with software which exercises the hardware deliver, giving a quick start to your application project (we are, of course, also available to write part or all of your application).
We commonly handle cost-downs and other enhancements to existing designs and can also provide advice on manufacturing and test issues.
